Brianna Welsh is a Partner and valued member of the Kovar Law Group team. Ms. Welsh was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. While still in high school, Ms. Welsh completed 23 college credits at the University of Toledo before moving to Tampa at the mere age of 17 to attend the University of Tampa, from where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology.
Ms. Welsh then went on to complete her first year of law school at the New England School of Law in Boston, before transferring to Stetson University College of Law to complete her Juris Doctorate. Ms. Welsh graduated from Stetson with her JD and a concentration in International Law in 2015, shortly before being admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in 2016.
During her time at Stetson University College of Law, Ms. Welsh devoted a significant portion of her personal time to better her community. She provided research assistance to the Hillsborough County Clerk of Court, served as an Assistant Coach to the University of Tampa’s Moot Court Team, and filled the position of Judge for the Southeast Regional Moot Court Competition.
Since graduating from Stetson and becoming a Florida licensed attorney, Ms. Welsh has spent her time expanding her knowledge on topics ranging from Real Estate Law and Corporate Law. She additionally previously served as Vice-President of Legal, Administration, and Contracts, for an international humanitarian aid company.
Ms. Welsh currently assists Kovar Law Group in matters pertaining to property insurance disputes, estate planning and probate, creditor harassment, and debt collection.
A resident of Tampa, Ms. Welsh enjoys spending her free time engaging in sports activities and playing with her puppies.
